Hi, I’m Owen, the owner of ODS Plastering Services. I’m a local plasterer based in Pontypool, covering the surrounding areas, and I specialise in providing clean, tidy plastering work for domestic customers.
With over 12 years of experience, I’ve built my reputation on doing things properly, turning up when I say I will, and leaving every job with a finish that’s smooth, professional, and ready to paint.
I know plastering can feel like one of those jobs where people worry about disruption, dust, and a mess to deal with afterwards. That’s why I take great pride in working cleanly and carefully, keeping disruption to a minimum and treating every home with respect.
I started ODS Plastering Services towards the end of 2020, after spending years working in the trade for other companies.
Over time, the work started to feel repetitive and limited, and I could see there was a real opportunity to do things better. I wanted to offer higher standards, better communication, and the kind of attention to detail that makes a difference when the job is finished.
I began by taking on smaller jobs in my local area, and as more people started recommending me, the demand grew through word of mouth and repeat customers. That’s when I decided to go fully self-employed and build the business properly around the things that matter most. They are quality workmanship, reliability, and trust.
